This was my first professional role as a Web Designer — where I built the foundational skills in HTML, CSS, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility that have underpinned my entire career.

• Converted Photoshop design files into clean, semantic HTML/CSS — producing accurate, maintainable markup from PSD source files for client websites.
• Built fully responsive layouts — designing and implementing fluid grids and media queries to ensure websites worked correctly across desktop, tablet, and mobile screen sizes.
• Ensured cross-browser compatibility — testing and fixing layout and styling issues across Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer, and mobile browsers.
• Applied front-end performance optimisation techniques — image compression, minification of CSS/JS, and reducing HTTP requests to improve page load times.
• Worked on multiple client projects simultaneously, developing the time management and delivery discipline that carried through the rest of my career.
